Our driver/guide will meet you at Errachidia airport in the southeast of Morocco to start your 2 Days Desert Tour from Errachidia. From here we'll travel south through extensive palm groves and kasbahs, adobe villages and traditional towns. You will start to see the desert landscapes and as we near Merzouga, the red gold dunes come into view. Once in Merzouga, we will meet your camel man and prepare for the ride over the dunes to your camp and overnight in the nomad or luxury tents. Dinner and music around a campfire will be provided and weather permitting; a fantastic show of stars.
An early start to the day to catch the sunrise, breakfast and a camel ride back to meet your driver. You travel northwards and visit the fossil workshops in Erfoud before passing alongside the Ziz Valley; a palm filled gorge with hidden kasbahs. In Midelt, we stop for a lunch break. From here the landscapes change to mountains and forests. In the great cedar forests of Azrou, it is possible to stop and watch the Barbary monkeys that live there. Ifrane is an alpine town similar to Switzerland with its sloping roofs.
