Your 3 Day Desert tour from Agadir to Fes will begin with the journey south crossing the Anti Atlas Mountains and passing through Taliouine, the saffron capital and Taznakht where many fine rugs are handwoven.
After a lunch break the drive continues to reach the Draa valley where the High atlas meets the Anti Atlas. From here the landscapes change as the palm groves are dominant.
The town of Agdz has been an important crossroads and trading point for centuries, its hidden Kasbah still has many fine adobe buildings and its market has some of the sweetest dates. Overnight in Agdz.

Today the road is north facing and we will make a short visit in Erfoud where they have museums and workshops that clean and polish fossils found in the nearby landscapes.
Many beautiful minerals are also on view as well as dinosaur bones. The mountains return and the palm groves along the Ziz Valley follow below you on the way. Midelt is known as the apple capital and a lunch break will be taken here.
In the afternoon, the mountains give way to forests and in Azrou we will stop so you can view the indigenous monkeys in the trees. These forests have the largest cedar trees in all of Morocco and are very impressive.
