We will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Agadir and we start our 6 days tour from agadir to Fes by driving to Marrakech through the Agadir-Marrakech highway. After a three-hour trip through the High Atlas highlands and Soss Berber settlements, with some pit stops along the way. After we meet our local tour guide and arrive in the imperial city of Marrakech, you will begin a sightseeing tour in the Medina (Old red city of Marrakech). You will begin by visiting Marrakech's historical buildings, such as the famed Bahia Palace and Badi Palace..., followed by a walk through the grounds of the Koutoubia Mosque and free time to walk in the evening in Jamaa El Fana famous Square.
Today we will depart Marrakech for Dades Valley, crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260m) of the High Atlas Mountains on our way to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the fortified ksar with its exquisite Kasbahs, a UNESCO world heritage site. Gladiator, Indiana Jones, and Game of Thrones were all filmed in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We will travel to Dades Valley through Ouarzazate and the Roses Valley after lunch. We'll see incredible rock formations (known as the monkey fingers) as well as fortified Kasbahs. In the hotel for the night.
Our tour will begin today with a drive down the route to Todra Gorges, where you will stop for a walk through the canyons after breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley. After breakfast, you'll ride camels back to meet your driver and begin the tour, which is possibly the nicest part of the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. After taking your breakfast at your Riad, you will begin your exploration of Fes imperial city, also known as the country's spiritual capital and our oldest Fes imperial city, by strolling around its bustling Souks, scenic lanes, and historic landmarks. The Royal Palace gate, for starters, creates a nice, tranquil transition between the new and ancient Fes. Then there was the Jewish headquarters and the first Mellah in Morocco. Following that, we'll begin touring all of the cultural and historical landmarks in the area, including the famous Al Qaraouine University. The Tanneries and the Attarine Museum are the oldest in the region.
After lunch, you'll visit Fez el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its alleyways and medieval structures such as Medersa Bou Inania and Bab Boujloud (the medina's main gate). Colorful Moroccan slippers, leatherwork, metalwork, rainbow-glass lamps, and tiles are all displayed at stalls around the city, making Fes el Bali a shoppers' delight.
