You may want to soak in the lovely green hillsides, Berber villages, and rolling hills as we travel from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley waterfalls in the first leg of our day trip. There are rivers here that meander around the valley, and there will always be chances to snap some stunning scenery pictures with your camera.
We'll make stops in a few of these typical Berber towns, so you can get a feel for what life is like for the locals. Driving along the valley, we will eventually reach Setti Fatma, where we will start to approach the more difficult Atlas mountain passes. Along this road, there are a number of small (and some considerably larger) waterfalls, not all of which are thronged with tourists.
We will hike a short walk to some of the Setti Fatma Cascades (waterfalls), so we advise you to bring along some hiking boots. We might get a chance to jump into one of the little pools that form at the base of the waterfalls, so you should pack some swimsuits and sunscreen.
A change of clothes is also a good idea since we might be approaching some waterfalls, where there will be enough back spray to keep you cool. As the final leg of the journey ascends to the communal society town of Sti Fadma, where it can get chilly even in the summer, don't forget to pack some warm clothing.
If you want to try local food, there are numerous cafes and restaurants in some of the Berber villages we will visit on our day trip. However, the camera is the item you should carry the most because you must document this moment on camera.
The journey to the Setti Fatma waterfalls passes through a valley, and we'll come back to Marrakech the same way. We will end our day tour from Marrakech to Ourika Valley by dropping you off at your Marrakech accommodation.
