Day 1: of Morocco itinerary 5 days Casablanca – Rabat -Chefchaouen
At the agreed time and location, your driver guide will pick you up to start this top 5 days Morocco itinerary. By visiting the Casablanca HASSAN II mosque. Following that we will drive to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, after seeing some of this charming city.
We will continue driving to Chefchaouen or the blue pearl of Morocco. One of the best places that you must visit during your visit in Morocco. Arriving at Chefchaouen in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight stay in a luxury Riad.
Day 2: Explore Chefchaouen and drive to Fes via Volubilis
After a delicious breakfast in the Riad, you will have a half day free to explore this lovely town by your own. You will immerse yourself by discovering this charming city and its blue stress. Taking a beautiful photos and souvenirs with you.
Moreover, after having lunch, we will start our journey to Fes by driving via the Rif Mountains. Where you will note the landscapes changes along the way. Following that, we will arrive at the Roman ruins of Volubilis where you will have one hour to explore this historical place. In the late afternoon, we will reach Fes dinner and overnight stay in a charming Riad in the old medina.
Day 3: Fes – Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas Mountains – Merzouga – camel ride and night in Sahara desert
After breakfast in the Riad, we will continue our 5 day Morocco itinerary by leaving the imperial city of Fes to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We will stop at the cedar forest of Azrou where you will observe the Barbary Apes.
Then we continue driving via the middle Atlas mountains. In the city of Midelt, we will have a break for lunch and then we will keep going to the Ziz Valley and its river. We will stop at the city of Erfoud where you will discover fossils and minerals.
Finally we will arrive at Merzouga where you will embark on a camel trekking excursion for one hour and 30 minutes over the sand dunes. You will see the sunset from above and we will go to the camp. There you will be welcomed with a cup of mint tea.
After a tasty dinner you will join a local party with drums and dancing around the campfire. Also you will enjoy observing stars in the dunes. Overnight stay in a Merzouga luxury desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Berber villages – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
In the morning, it is recommended to wake up early to admire a fabulous sunrise and try a sandboarding activity in the sand dunes. After breakfast and shower, you will ride camels back to Merzouga or by jeep in case you don’t want to ride more camels.
Also you can add an extra activity with ATV Sahara quad biking for one hour in the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. When you arrive to Merzouga, you will meet your driver guide and start your journey to Dades valley.
First we will visit a local traditional market of Rissani, and we will drive to the stunning Todra Gorges. Where you will go on hiking around the water for about 40 minutes.
Following that, we will have a stop for lunch and continue to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a luxury Riad in the middle of the valley and Gorges.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Amridil – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
