Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Boumalne

After breakfast on our five Day Tour from Marrakech to Tangier, we will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel and head into the High Atlas Mountains, where you will be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. We'll stop along the way to take in the landscapes and take photos. We'll arrive in Ait Ben Haddou after crossing the Atlas Mountains. A historically significant Kasbah that has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has appeared in many Hollywood films, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones, to mention a few.

After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, there is a chance to have lunch with a stunning view of the Kasbah. Moving on, we pass through Ouarzazate, also renowned as Moroccan Hollywood because it is home to Morocco's largest filming studios. The day's ultimate destination is Boumalne, where you will relax, possibly swim, enjoy a delicious dinner, stay overnight.

When we get to Ouarzazate, we'll visit the movie studios that contributed to making that city one of the most well-known locations for filming in the world. After that, we can travel to explore Skoura's oasis and Amrhydil's magnificent Kasbah. We will then proceed to Dades Valley through the Valley of Roses, where we will spend the remainder of the evening and night in a lovely hotel or riad.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Camel Trek

A visit to Todra Gorges follows breakfast. The Todra River carved out this naturally formed limestone canyon over time. It's an incredible sight that you'll be able to tour and photograph. Moreover, the 5 Days tour from Marrakech continues to Merzouga, the Sahara Desert's doorway. You will be greeted at the hotel with mint tea upon arrival.

Following tea, you will leave your luggage in your room, pack a small overnight bag, and embark on a camel trek into the dunes. Stop for a warm Saharan sunset in the evocative orange sand dunes along the way. The traditional Berber camp or luxury one welcomes you with open arms. You will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, desert drumming, and stargazing.

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifran – Fes

The third day of our 5-day desert tour from Marrakech to Tangier will begin with waking up early in the morning to catch a beautiful Sahara sunrise and enjoy the quietness of the dunes. And then we’ll ride camels back to the hotel.

Arrive at the hotel, eat breakfast, and take a shower. Then you will join your diver and depart for Fes, stopping for pictures along the breathtaking road through the Ziz Valley, which is dotted with palm groves. Travel through the Middle Atlas to Midelt. Driving via Azrou and Ifrane, and stopping for lunch along the way. If you're lucky, you might see one of the famous Azrou monkeys that inhabit the cedar forests, an endangered species renowned as the Barbary Macaque.

Day 4: Explore Fes – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, depart from the Riad / Hotel to explore Fes on the fourth day of your 5-day Sahara tour from Marrakech to Tangier. Fes is rich in history and culture. Fes' medina is one of the world's largest car-free zones, with an old-world charm. It is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes has a lot to offer and many of interesting places to visit. Visit the Karaouine University and Mosque. This is thought to be the world's oldest operational university! Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the mosque, but a superb view can be seen from a doorway.

Other visits, depending on time, may include the Ibn Danan Synagogue, the Marinid Tombs, and spectacular views of Fes. After discovering Fes, the next stop is the Blue City: Chefchaouen, which is situated in North-West of Morocco, in the gorgeous Rif Mountains. Known for being painted in blue hues. It's a charming city with artistic flair. It’s a beautiful setting for creative travel photos, and a fantastic place to explore and unwind. You will spend the last night of the tour in your Riad/Hotel, where you will have dinner in the evening and have breakfast the next morning.

Day 5: Explore Chefchaouen – Tangier

On the the last day of this fantastic 5 Days Marrakech to Tangier tour, you will have a free morning to walk around Chefchaouen and visit the medina. You can also wander through its winding lanes and narrow alleys, which are home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works.
